Which card is better when given to someone? Machine Made vs. Handmade art – Make Christmas Cards!
This class in the Discovering How Art Can Affect Our Lives program will be on Saturday, November 12th from 9 AM to noon. This is a great chance to explore card making while using critical thinking to determine what matters most to us when given a card. Is it the card that someone cut and decorated by hand or is it the one mostly cut and decorated by a machine? In this class, we will make a handmade card and a card designed for a Cricut machine. Since Christmas will be just around the corner, we will be making Christmas cards. Participants do NOT have to have any experience to complete the class (all levels of experience are welcome though!). The class is totally free! Class size is limited to 10 people, so sign up soon! To sign up, contact the library or sign up on the Classes/Presentations page. Registration is highly recommended to ensure we have enough supplies for everyone. We can’t wait to see you there! It will be a lot of fun!
**The Discovering How Art Can Affect Our Lives program was made possible in part by a a Peggy Barber Tribute Grant from the American Library Association’s Public Programs Office. We are so excited about receiving this grant and so thankful for their support in making this huge change possible for our library!!! We hope to see you at the classes!
