Discovering How Art Can Affect Our Lives

This fun series will teach participants how to use critical thinking when producing different kinds of art. We will look at examples, think about what we’ve seen, wonder why it was done that way (and if we would do it that way) and then apply what we’ve discussed to an actual project. We will apply this thinking process to a knitting class, beading class, and classes that teach card making and crafts produced with the Cricut cutting machine. We hope these classes will bring people in our town together to enjoy learning and each other’s company! This is also a super opportunity to learn a new hobby! We will post the classes below as they are set up.

**The Discovering How Art Can Affect Our Lives program was made possible in part by a a Peggy Barber Tribute Grant from the American Library Association’s Public Programs Office. We are so excited about receiving this grant and so thankful for their support in making this huge change possible for our library!!! We hope to see you at the classes!
