Class Registration Policy
All classes are subject to the following policy: If a patron has registered for a class and cannot attend, that patron is required to provide cancellation notice via e-mail (udalllibrary@wheatstate.com) or by phone (620-782-3435) at least 48 hours prior to the day of the event. If a cancellation notice is not given at the time of the event, that patron is considered a “no-show”. If the patron is a no-show to 3 registered classes within one year’s time, said patron will not be permitted to register for or attend any classes requiring registration for a period of 6 months.
Awesome Ceramic Christmas Tree Class by Tim in October!
We are doing another awesome lighted ceramic Christmas tree class this year! It will be a two day class again and will be on October 12th and October 19th (both are Saturdays). Class will go from 9 AM to noon both days. On October 12th, each participant will choose a color of tree to make: pink, white, or green! Basic ceramic cleaning will be covered as well as basic glazing skills. You do not need to have any prior experience to do this class! After the basics are covered, participants will glaze the nice size 14″ trees.
On October 19th, participants will learn how to light up their trees. Participants will be shown how to install bulbs and run wiring. It is easy and Tim is always ready to help if you have trouble! Everyone will go home with finished Christmas trees!
To register for the class, click on the link below. The registration cost per participant is $45 to do a tree. All registration money must be turned in at the library by September 28th to keep your place in the class. Any spots in the class that are not paid by that date will be re-opened up to others. If you wish to attend and only watch how to do the trees (not actually do one), you may do so for free – just let Dianna know. The class is limited to 15 participants.
