We had a great time with our Oceans of Possibilities reading program this summer! We had a week of fun activities and snacks that were ocean based. Kids made deep sea divers out of plastic Easter eggs, super smelling bath scrubs, and had fun doing blind taste tests of Goldfish. We also had an Plinko board decorated with ocean life stickers for patrons to earn small prizes for the books they read. Finally, for each book read between the beginning of July and the end of August, patrons were able to put their names into a drawing for prizes. We gave out two tablets to elementary age kids, two tablets to middle school age kids, two sets of Beats earbuds to high school age kids and one $50 gift card to an adult! We had over 300 entries! Congratulations to those that won! Check out the bulletin board at the library to see who won.
